Notification and approval of configuration changes include those parts which are superseded by another part.

Textron Aviation grants a responsible person in the Quality Organization of your company the authority to complete and sign the FAA 8130-9 form upon completion of a satisfactory inspection. The conformed parts shall be shipped with the completed FAA documents required per FAA form 8120-10 "REQUEST FOR CONFORMITY". The supplier shall also include a copy of the delegation.

** Q16 ** Material shall meet burn requirements of the engineering design data and the packing sheet shall state that certifications are on file and available for buyer's review.

Note Code - 29
** Q29 ** An FAA ODA conformity consisting of a completed FAA Statement of Conformity (8130-9) form and all supplier supporting documents are required on this item. Textron Aviation grants a responsible person in the Quality organization of your company the authority to complete and sign the FAA form 8130-9 upon completion of conformity activity. The required supporting documents shall include: 1) supplier part inspection acceptance and 2) Acceptance Test Procedure (ATP) summary report, if applicable. A completed FAA Statement of Conformity (8130-9) form shall accompany the parts when shipped. The supporting documents may be shipped separately. In addition, the supplier shall retain on file copies of all of the documentation sent to Textron Aviation for audit purposes.
